Rima graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours from Gujarat University, India in 2014. She continued her education to assure quality of care for her patients by attaining her diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College, Toronto in 2016. In Canada, she started her journey working as a PTA and clinic manager for over 3 years in a private clinical in GTA before becoming Registered Physiotherapist, and working as since 2019. She is a Registered Physiotherapist and member in good standing of College of Physiotherapist of Ontario.
Rima is passionate and dedicated towards patient-oriented care and she is kin to helping people of all ages suffering from injury, illness or disability. She has an experience of working with sports injury, post-operative rehab, musculoskeletal (spinal and joint pain) and Neuro rehab, concussion rehab.
She doesn’t believe in one-size fits all approach to treatment. Instead, her philosophy is to tailor a treatment plan that is specific to the needs of the individual to get them back to living fully, faster. Rima frequently incorporates stretching, mobilizations and soft tissue release, cupping therapy and taping, acupuncture and core stabilization into her treatment plans.
In her spare time, Rima enjoys many different activities with her husband including cooking, listening to music, going for hikes or trail walking, taking photos of beautiful nature and sunset. She also keeps active with yoga and walking.
